How we pack, and how to deal with it after
Fresh pasta has to travel cold, so every order ships in an insulated box with ice packs that hold a safe chilled temperature through the delivery run. When your box arrives, put everything in the fridge straight away.
Here is what each part is and what to do with it once you have unpacked.

Keeps everything cool during transport.
Remove the soft-plastic wrap off the wool (it's there to keep the fibres off your food) and drop it in a soft-plastics bin at your supermarket. The wool can go in your compost, or in the bin, where it breaks down naturally.
We reuse ours as weed mat in the planter beds or as tree rings around our fruit trees.

Pop them back in your freezer to reuse. Or defrost, squeeze the gel into the bin, and recycle the film with soft plastics.

The clear film around your pasta is NatureFlex, a compostable film made from wood-pulp cellulose, not plastic. Pop it in your home compost or food-scraps bin. It is certified home and industrially compostable, so it breaks down.
Please do not put it in soft-plastics recycling.

Rinse and dry, recycle them with your normal plastics.
Recycling rules vary by council. When in doubt, check your local guidelines.
