Shipping Policy & Terms and Conditions

SHIPPING POLICY

1. Delivery Areas

We ship across Auckland. We do not deliver to PO boxes. For wholesale enquiries, please contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Free shipping is available on all orders over $85.

Exact shipping rates including any rural delivery surcharge will be shown at checkout. 

3. Dispatch Days

We dispatch orders on Tuesdays and Fridays only (excluding public holidays). To ensure your order is included in the next dispatch run:

 For Tuesday delivery: order by 12pm Monday

 For Friday delivery: order by 12pm Thursday

Orders placed after these cutoff times will be held and dispatched on the next available dispatch day. If you need your order dispatched on a specific date, please contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz and we will do our best to accommodate you.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Your order is dispatched fresh so that it arrives on your chosen delivery day. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Rural addresses within our delivery area may receive their order the following day.

We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our courier partners or circumstances outside our control.

5. Fresh Pasta and Chilled Delivery

All Pasta Purists products are made fresh and shipped in chilled packaging designed to keep your order at a safe temperature in transit. Upon receipt, please refrigerate your order immediately.

We recommend consuming fresh pasta within the use-by date printed on the packaging. Storage instructions are also included in your order confirmation and on the product packaging.

If your order arrives warm or the packaging appears compromised, please photograph the product immediately and contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz within 24 hours of delivery.

6. Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this to track your delivery directly with our courier partner.

If your parcel appears delayed, please check your tracking details first. If you need further assistance, contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz.

7. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If your order does not arrive on the expected delivery date, please contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz within 2 days of the scheduled delivery date. Failure to notify us within this period will result in the loss of any rights to a refund or re-delivery.

If no one is home at the time of delivery, our courier may leave the parcel in a safe place or leave a card with redelivery instructions. Because our products are perishable, we strongly recommend ensuring someone is available to receive your delivery, or providing specific delivery instructions at checkout.

8. Incorrect Address

Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order. If you need to correct an address after ordering, contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz immediately. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched, and we cannot provide refunds or re-deliveries for orders sent to an incorrect address where we have not received advance notice.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Orders

All orders placed on our website are subject to acceptance at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing a reason. If we do not accept your order, we will notify you promptly and refund any payment in full via your original payment method.

2. Prices and Payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price shown at the time your order is placed.

We use Shopify Payments to process all transactions securely. Your credit card information is not stored by us at any time. We accept major credit and debit cards.

For subscription orders, your payment method will be billed automatically prior to each scheduled dispatch. For one-off orders, payment is taken in full at checkout.

3. Subscriptions

You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time via the "My Account" area of our website or by contacting us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz. To avoid being charged for an upcoming delivery, cancellation or pause requests must be received by 12pm Monday (for Tuesday dispatch) or 12pm Thursday (for Friday dispatch).

Subscription prices are set at the time of sign-up. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time and will notify subscribers in advance, providing the option to cancel free of charge if prices increase.

4. Cancellations and Changes

To cancel or change a one-off order, please contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz by 12pm Monday (for Tuesday dispatch) or 12pm Thursday (for Friday dispatch). Requests received after these cutoff times cannot be guaranteed, and we are unable to offer refunds for orders that have already been dispatched.

5. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Allergens

Our fresh pasta products are made using ingredients that contain or may come into contact with common allergens including gluten, eggs, and dairy. Customers with severe allergies should contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz before placing an order. Whilst we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that any product will be 100% free of allergens.

7. Personal Use

By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing products for your own personal or household use and not for the purposes of trade or resale. If you wish to purchase for commercial or wholesale purposes, please contact us at hello@pastapurists.co.nz.

8. Privacy

By using our website you authorise us to collect, retain and use information about you for the purposes of processing your order, providing our services, and marketing communications. You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, and to request corrections to any inaccurate information. 9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
